Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!”…This will be a public testimony that you have been cleansed.
I came across this scripture as I was reading my daily devotional and it couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time. Erik, God is giving you the most powerful testimony! Your story will change lives and bring other people hope and show them what He is capable of.
You are one of the strongest people I know and with God’s help you are made even stronger. Keep on fighting. Love you!
When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them. – Luke 4:40
Jesus healed with just a touch. The only thing that the sick had to bring was faith. Continue to draw closer to the Lord so that you can be touched. Continue to pray and strive to develop a stronger relationship so that you can receive the blessings of being close to Him. Our Lord is in the healing business, stay faithful and strong, never doubting Him!
O Lord my God, I cried out to You, And You healed me. O Lord, You brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Psalms 30:2-3
God is in the healing business, all we need to bring is our faith. Put it in His capable hands and let the Almighty, All Powerful, All Knowing God provide for you.
Lord, we just thank you for all of the blessings that you have bestowed upon us. We are thankful that you are a personal God, one who cares for our well being and concerns. We thank you that despite our imperfections, you hear our petitions and that you always answer. Lord, we pray that you will provide healing for Erik’s body, removing the illnesses from it. We know that you are the ultimate doctor and have power over everything. Lord we pray that the focus remains on you and that we praise you through the good times and the tough times. We know that you even care for the birds and the flowers. We know that we were created in your image, and you care that much more for us. We pray for the awesome testimony that Erik will have when he gets through this. May your awesome Name be glorified. Amen.
Continue to keep your eye on the Lord, Erik. He is capable and will provide for you. Keep trusting and believing in Him.
All you can apprehend in the vision of faith is your own. Look as far as you can, for it is all yours. All that you long to be as a Christian, all that you long to do for God, are within the possibilities of faith. Then come, still closer, and with your Bible before you, and your soul open to all the influences of the Spirit, let your whole being receive the baptism of His presence; and as He opens your understanding to see all His fulness, believe He has it all for you. Accept for yourself all the promises of His word, all the desires He awakens within you, all the possibilities of what you may be as a follower of Jesus. All the land you see is given to you.
He who breathes into our hearts the heavenly hope, will not deceive or fail us when we press forward to its realization.
You made my body, and I believe you have the power to repair and restore it. You know my mind and my thoughts, and you can show me the truth. You gave me a soul, and you can bring me peace. You are not bounded by limitations of this world. You can intervene to restore any part of my life, whether in the physical, mental, spiritual, or emotional realm. I know that you love me enough to sacrifice greatly for me. You also promise that in eternity I will be fully healed. With the assurance of your love for me and the hope of your promise of ultimate healing, I have what I need to endure and wait for your healing power to make me whole.

In Exodus 15, God miraculously provides water to the thirsty Hebrews during their journey to the promised land, Canaan (the future Israel). After proclaiming that they will not experience the disease bought onto Egypt if they follow Him, God states, “For I am the Lord who heals you.”
In Exodus, God used a tree to alleviate the thirst of the Hebrews. The Bible is full of examples of Jesus (God in the flesh) healing people afflicted by various illnesses. His healings and miracles were so widely known, that he drew large crowds from all over the region. Due to the way the news spread and the amount of people desperately gathering to heal Jesus, you can best believe that these healings were the real deal! He even healing those who were dead! Just to name a few…
Jesus raises the widow’s son from the dead – Luke 7:11-18
This list only includes some of the healings that are mentioned in the Bible, one passage even mentions the healings of Jesus as pretty much a footnote (Matthew 9:35). Jesus healed so many people of various illnesses, that the Bible simply says, he healed many people. How can be miraculous healings be mentioned so casually??? It must be a routine thing for God.
Erik, I want you to know that whatever you may go through today, tomorrow, or in the future. God is capable of healing you. You were clinically dead, and God bought you back. If He can do that, He can heal anything! There is so much power in His name, if you are down, just call on it. He will fill in the words that you can’t find. He has already healed your soul, when you confessed Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and He will heal your body. Erik, Jehovah-Rapha, God heals. He’s going to heal you. Don’t give up.
